Jim Rose serves as a vice president at Newmark Grubb Levy Strange Beffort. He has dealt with commercial real estate sales, land acquisitions, site selection and retail leasing since 1980. Mr. Rose specializes in the sale, acquisition and leasing of commercial and income producing properties. He has been a broker representative for many national clients including Auto Zone, Circuit City and Associated Host. He knows that self-reliance and self-motivation are the most important tools for success as a commercial real estate broker.
Mr. Rose served as vice president and broker for NAI Harrison Levy Company, Oklahoma City, OK, from 1982 to 2004 when the company merged with Beffort Brooks and Hogan to form Grubb and Ellis Levy Beffort. In 2013, the company merged with Newmark Grubb Levy Strange Beffort.
From 1980 to 1982, he was leasing director and property manager for John A. Henry & Co. in Oklahoma City. He handled the leasing and management of 250,000 SF of shopping center properties, pad site sales, hired and directed maintenance and construction staff, land leasing and contract negotiations for oil and gas exploration activities including representation of Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
From 1977 to 1980, Mr. Rose was the property specialist for the City of Oklahoma City where he handled right of way and real estate acquisition project development, community relations, contract negotiations and easement damage settlements.
His outside interests include high school football officiating and classic cars.
